Jackie Robinson one of today's biggest icon in baseball history Jackie faced discrimination in his early baseball career. Segregation was a big problem in his whole lifetime. Blacks didn't get as much respect as white people. Blacks were not well respected. Jackie was the first negro in MLB both his teammates and his opponents hated him. Jackie was told he couldn't fight back so he used didn't use his voice to find dignity he found dignity is silence.
